Earlier last week, we started with PhotoShop Elements. PhotoShop Elements is a program that edits, creates, and modifies images. We've also been told about pixels. Pixels are very small dots on the computer screen that make up an image when put together. Any image on a computer screen is made up of pixels. The amount of pixels in an image is measured by DPI( Dots Per Inch). This means that there is a certain number of pixels in every inch2. There are two standard amounts of DPI. 72 DPI is used by computer monitors and on websites. Since it is a lower quality, it doesn't take much to load up the website. 300 DPI is used in printed pictures. It offers a much more detailed image which is most suitable for prints.
